“I was fortunate to establish a design studio in Lebanon three years following my graduation in 2010. I managed to form a team of 4 architects, where together we successfully realized international standard architectural projects with limited resources in the MENA region. While I was a design instructor at two universities and managed to pursue MBA degree and other certificates. In 2017, I decided to move to the Netherlands to pursue a masters in architecture and to sharpen my professional ambitions by fostering new perspectives, acquire a new mindset in a culture I highly admire and value its achievements since my first visit in 2005. In Holland, I worked hard to re-shape my personality and skills with discipline to achieve my ambitions. Today, I look forward to being an active member within a professional society which I have tailored aesthetics and engineering, which has built and is still building manicured cities that have become the reference to the entire world. It will be my honour if you were to accept me within your company (team/institution) and where I can contribute my humble skills, culture and experiences to your progressive architecture. Also, this would help me sustain and develop my career within your team which I would strive hard to become a highly affiliated member and an added value.“ This portfolio shows, as possible, a holistic overview of my works while lacking a few other projects that I have accomplished during my professional and academic career. Each presented project has a link in title to the main presentation on my website, which I would love to invite you to have an in-depth look. Thank you for your time and consideration.

The project consisted of rejuvenating Dbayeh water front, creating a new master plan generated through diagrams and using the upcoming technique of parametric design.. In fact the infrastructure on the existing site gave birth to several layers of new infrastructures, path, and nodes roads but also a new forms were discovered.

The design was a Gold LEED certificate award for sustainable design, which lays next one of the most iconic buildings designed by Swiss Architects Hertzog et Domeron. The office spaces qualities where well thought of in terms of light and climate control. Kindly press on the link above to know more about the design process and my role in this project.

2012 Project Description Maidan Heights is one of my personal projects which I had the chance to execute. 16,500 square meters of mixed-use spaces. This project is located on the southern entrance of Tripoli, facing a huge roundabout, had to become a landmark, a gate, and a facade for the city. The developer had already started the architectural studies with a locale architectural firm. Nevertheless, he was unsatisfied with the architectural designs, and was willing to reconsider it, until I proposed a new concept in design, very different from the local designs, convincing him that through innovation and aesthetic value, he could compete with other developers. And since the area is subjected to certain rules and regulations such as stone cladding, set back, and land exploitation; I re-arranged the spaces in a way that it could generate a nice innovative form away from typical residential building that surrounds it. Retails - Offices - Clinics- Apartments - Parking My scope of work as a lead architect was very wide I have to manage the project from the concept phase to the execution phase and site supervision:

Role Lead Architect & Project Management: - Feasibility study. - Concept Design - Design Development - Permit Drawings

- BOQ - MEPs coordination - Marketing strategy - Material selection

- Interior design for lobbies. - Rendering and visualization - Client representative

Rearanging GeneratingĂŠconcept

Existing Design!

Old Masterplan

The project was already developed by a local architecture office which the developer has rejected its design proposal, Yet based on the old design I have rearranged the spaces to get more dynamic design. Inspired by green flying terraces which provides extra outdoors spaces and vertical gardens.

Spatial Rearrangement of the existing plan.

Shift & Compact Footprint

Enhance Urban Connectivity

New Plan Diagram.

Reduce Construction Area - Single Core

The idea was derived from a conceptual notion of flying gardens. The client was amazed yet also in a shock . Conceptualizing

Then I followed the idea with a humble architectural representation of the flying gardens . Transformation

Afterwards I presented series of formal possibilities as a representation of the proposed architecture . Grounding the Concept

At the end, I started adapting the design to the local building codes and regulations in order to proceed with permits. Testing

Personal Photography of the project’s construction process

2013 Continue Maidan// The project consists of two main buildings, one is completely residential apartment building. The team that worked on this project consisted of 2 Junior Architects - 1 Junior Interior designer, besides me being taking Lead. The coordination in such large scale project is very important, and the communication between the subordinates should be smooth and transparent, This project became a success because of team efforts. I have received many compliments for this project, as it was my first project to handle individually.

Project Description

AGENTS OF CHANGE

This residential compound rests in suburban area in the north of Lebanon where building codes and laws determine and impose the architecture of buildings. The challenge was to create a new movement and offer new materials within the traditional aspect of the buildings. Located on Main Street connecting 2 major towns in this residential area with major development, the client’s need was to propose an appealing project and landmark to rejuvenate the real estate market. From the commercial status of the project and the imposing architectural regulations, Koura residential project created in identity not only for itself but for the town and surrounding buildings. Laying all these regulation with a grid, solid and void characterized the design process determining the architectural language of the façade.

Role Lead Architect &Project Management: - Material selection - Concept Design - Brochure Design - Design Development - Site Supervision - Permit Drawings - Construction Drawings

Deddeh Heights// Residential Complex Invest Real Estate Role: Lead Architect Lebanon 2016- Under construction

Mass Plan

• The exposed circulation generated a connection between the residents of this compound and the urban layer of the city. • The voids were translated into courtyards to provide a communal introverted space for privacy and the residents’ activities.

Construction Process

• The intertwining of solid (building) and voids (courtyards) produced the promenade and the circulation within the project as well as the main access to buildings. • The use of brick material cladding as new feature in the Lebanese architecture became an international style combined with raw concrete material for modern look along with the pitched roof abiding the rules.

Project Description This residential mid-rise building located in the coastal city of Tripoli, in the urban expansion area. The challenge was to create affordable residential apartments with different sizes and typologies to fulfil the markets needs. The client’s need was to propose an appealing project to compete with the real estate market. Laying all these regulation with a grid, solid and void characterized the design process determining the architectural language of the façade. The use of materials and colours reflects the volumetric formulation of the building, where each volume specifies and reflects what’s behind it. i.e. living and dining areas where exposed to the street with a huge raw concrete texture divided by black painted solid slabs, while white aluminium louvres hides the kitchen and the dirty mechanical areas behind it. Nevertheless, the light blue painted plaster in the back resembles the night area where the bedroom are located. The colours where used in order to sustain the building appearance, knowing back in mind the sandy & rainy weather which effects the appearance on the long run. The main architectural elements that we worked on are: - Wide panoramic openings - Identity of form - Quality of dwell
