In order to bring their importance back I’ve decided to Design my shop around educating 13-19 year old teenagers about wood working and entrepreneurship. My students will be designing, crafting, and selling small furniture ranging from as small as a vase to as large as a chair.

Throughout history pine cones have been a Symbol of knowledge and power, dating back to ancient Egypt. The essence of the pine cone will be represented through the knowledge of woodwroking being passed down to the younger generation

PROJECT DESCRIPTION We were given the task of redesigning Pollak’s rooftop in a way that would make it more comfortable for the users experience. Introducing an herb garden into the space will allow for a more stimulating experience

THE PUBLIC IMPLEMENTATION WOULD ALLOW WATER TO ENTER THROUGH THE OPENING THE MIDDLE OF THE TABLE, AS WELL AS ALLOW SUNLIGHT TO ENTER THROUGH THE GLASS.

VIEW OUTSIDE YEAR ROUND The tree that is blocking all of the windows on the north east side of the building is a magnolia tree. Considering magnolia’s are evergreen trees, the amount of light that enters the space is minimal year round

Before I came to VCU I spent two years at community college. Durning my time there I developed a passion for painting. Painting for me is a stress relief, self expression and a playful experimentation. Most of my paintings include nature because I love animals and the outdoors.
