ENGINEERING
Hydraulics: Industrial and Mobile Hydraulics.
Hydraulic power is the drive mechanism with the greatest power density. It is used everywhere where construction needs to take place in a restricted space – e.g. in mining equipment – or where high power levels are required, e.g. in hydraulic presses. Hydraulic power has added advantages: it makes the continuous adjustment, regulation and problem-free transfer of power over relatively large distances possible. The accuracy, speed (dynamic performance) and efficiency required of hydraulic systems and equipment are increasing constantly. The increased level of automation means that more and more hydraulic systems have to adjust pressure, flow rates and flow direction using electronic controls. Hydraulic proportional valves are an interface between the controls and the hydraulic system.
