by amber pajtasz Going into its 6th year, the annual Port Credit Comedy Festival will celebrate the very best in stand-up comedy, bringing the unique talents of acclaimed performers from around the world, February 15 – 18, 2018. This year will see a few familiar fan favourites return including Mike Bullard, who is back to host the “Best of the Fest” show Sunday evening and Nathan Macintosh, recently featured on the Stephen Colbert Show as the first Canadian comic to be a featured on his hilarious show. The very talented and popular Jon Dore will be headlining Thursday night’s show to kick it all off. With his own Comedy Network show and being featured movies and television shows, Jon has been a regular on the Conan O’ Brien show and will always bring the unexpected to any stage he stands on. Back again by popular demand is our “Food and Funny Deal” which gets you a gift certificate from the Shore Grill and Grotto to fill up on great eats before getting your reserved seat at your choice of any of the 6 amazing shows. Sandra Battaglini, Nick Nemeroff, Amish Patel, Courtney Gilmour, and the 2017 Sirius XM Top Comic winner, Gavin Matts, will also be performing. Every year, the Port Credit Comedy Festival has partnered with The Compass, a non-profit volunteer organization that serves the Mississauga South community.
