Claims Supply Chain Manager | Location Independent Major international insurer seeks an experienced Claims Supply Chain Manager to work from one of its prestigious claims offices, location independent. This household name insurer has recently benefited from circa £100M investment and continues to transform key locations into ‘claim centres of excellence’. The company has also witnessed its GWP rise, year upon year, and employs almost 6,000 insurance professionals. Working from any one of the company’s offices throughout the UK, and reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will manage the performance of existing suppliers to the Property and Motor claims units. This will include working closely with Claims Handlers to understand their daily interaction with suppliers, and act upon their first hand recommendations and feedback. You will audit supplier performance and review MI to ensure that all suppliers are adhering to contractual demands, as well as managing those that are underperforming and perhaps removing them from the panel, if required. In addition, you will source new suppliers, establish processes and ensure the delivery of agreed SLAs and financial targets. As expected, you will ensure a consistent approach sou across suppliers and Claims Handlers, working in partnership with them to ensure that the proposition remains first class. As this is a varied role, you will project manage tenders, due-diligence and the implementation of suppliers. It is essential that you have technical and specialist knowledge of supplier contractor management from within an insurer, ideally from a Motor and/or Property background. You will also have a previous track record of delivering tenders and securing new suppliers, through to implementation. Just as importantly, you must be driven, self-motivated and engaging, with a genuine passion for the claims industry.
