Hello Division Three!

It is truly crazy to think that it's already August!

As we start this month, we all will begin to think about school and all of the activities that come along with it. Like Key Club! In this newsletter you will find information about the Youth Opportunity Fund, monthly reports, submitting dues, and much more.

Youth Youth Opportunities Opportunities Fund Fund The Youth Opportunity Fund is a grant given to clubs internationally in order to help financially support service projects done within a specific service year. This grant can provide clubs with anywhere from $100 - $2,000, but all clubs that apply for the grant must be in good standing and must also be able to pay for part of the service project themselves. The application for this grant is due on October 15th, 2020. For more information about this grant and how to apply, please visit Key Club's International YOF Grant Information Page.

Submitting Submitting Dues Dues In order for your club to be an official member of both Key Club International and the Missouri-Arkansas District of Key Club, each club member must pay $14 in dues. With half of these dues going to KCI to help improve the organization, the other half stays in the district to support with district wide improvements.

The early-bird due date for dues are on November 1st, 2020, meaning that they need to be sent before this date.Â

M Ma ajjo orr E Em mp ph ha as siis s Each year, clubs pick a service project to be their "Major Emphasis Project". This project is something that the club will focus on for the majority of the year in order to help children and their future. For the most part, these projects are something that is tied to one of Key Club's three major service partners; UNICEF, March of Dimes, and Children's Miracle Network. This project is also the perfect opportunity for clubs to work with other K-Family clubs (such as a local Circle K Club or Kiwanis Club). Remember, your club can also win an award for this project at DLC! The Major Emphasis program is for "Children: Their Future, Our Focus."
