Introduction ACTIVE Content Manager 12.3 contains many significant enhancements and new features, including: ACTIVE Content Manager: 

This release also contains many fixes to customer-reported issues as well as numerous minor improvements. These Release Notes outline the details of the new features and minor enhancements addressed in this version. New Features ACTIVE Content Manager Syndicated calendar UI enhancements New buttons and an improved date selection interface make it easier for users to submit calendar events. (#5688) Custom calendar event submission fields Users can now create custom fields for the calendar event submission form, and indicate whether these fields are required. Also, standard fields such as Location and Address can now be hidden. (#5703) Upgrade utility support ACM upgrade utility now supports multiple servers. (#5353) Site Builder Smartphone edit mode The existing UI is now slimmed down to better accommodate the limited size of smart phone screens, including an improved toolbar and more accessible buttons. It is now much easier to edit text, add a calendar event, or modify a gallery using the sleek, simple interface. (#5692, #5782) Syndicated calendar UI enhancements New buttons and an improved date selection interface make it easier for users to submit calendar events. (#5688) Built-in widgets for themes Templates now include default widgets. The default widgets can contain default content to allow for easy reuse. The default widgets cannot be edited, but can be replaced by user-created widgets. (#5820)

Enhancements Site Builder 

The home page now displays in the navigation menu unless the “Hide from menu” option is selected. (#5383)

The standard loading images now appear when adding or removing files. (#5845)

Digital asset authorization no longer fails. (#5865)

The follow-up task review date no longer resets after it is changed and published a second time. (#5807)

Selecting the Show most recent articles option of the Article index pagelet no longer causes Featured articles to display instead. (#5835)

Inactive users are no longer sent event submission approval emails. (#5825)

The review date no longer resets after it is changed. (#5922)

Saved usernames/passwords are no longer autofilled in the STMP settings. (#5850)

Office 2007 survey attachment files now download correctly when using IE8. (#5811)

The exception log no longer lists the user name and password. (#5841)

The Failed to delete digital asset error no longer occurs in IE9. (#5880)

The Create link button for images now functions correctly. (#5839)

Inactive pages no longer display on the list of asset usage pages. (#5786)

The listing service image dimensions over limit error message now lists width by height instead of height by width. (#5882)

The RSVP forms option now displays correctly when adding an event on the Club calendar. (#5959)

When linking to an invalid RSS feed page, an error message now displays (previously the page would hang). (#5954)

Deleted content no longer reappears in the RadAjax content editor. (#5840)

The SRC attributes of image files in templates are now the same as non-exported versions. (#5827)

Survey page Select country question options now have correct spellings. (#5806)

Twitter feed pagelet data now displays correctly. (#5943)

Login now functions correctly when using friendly URLs and an admin URL. (#5792)

When changing to another mobile template, zones and pagelets no longer need to be reconfigured; the user can now click the Apply to all templates button. (#5823)
