Squanto is famous because he was captured by explorers and sent to England to be a slave. Luckily he was able to return to Plimoth. When he came back, he found his people wiped out. But he helped the Pilgrims to survive at Plimoth Plantation. He also helped make peace between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoags. Squanto was very nice.
