I dedicate this book to all my friends and family, especially the one who is always there for me, my mom. Â
On a cold breezy beach, Sand Dollar rests while waiting for his prey. He buries half of his body in the sand to catch plankton with his spines. The sun is rising in the shiny purple sky. Two fish are about to swim by Sand Dollar. Waves crash on the sand. Then the waves carry Sand Dollar away. Â
Under the bright yellow moon, a red boat sails across the shimmering water. The stars are heading towards the moon. A palm tree gently sways in the wind. Sea Star moves across the sand with his tiny tube feet. He thinks he spots a dead fish, but it is actually a little piece of coral. Sea Star scoots back on the sand and patiently waits for another sign of a dead fish. Â
As the sun sets into the aqua ocean, the sky fades into purple. Jellyfish calmly swims in the water. He is searching for his prey. He likes to eat small fish and plankton. His tentacles help him catch fish to eat. Jellyfish swims toward the sun. The sun reflects on Jellyfish, turning him colors like orange, blue, and green. Â
On the brown, rocky sand, Harbor Seal rests on the bumpy rocks. Thousands of stars shine on the blue, wavy ocean. Harbor Seal’s black body stands out against the two rocks. He has just finished his meal of fish and squid and is ready to go to sleep for the night.
