WELCOME TO THE MLC ART EXHIBITION 2017 As part of our celebrations in our 110th year, we have invited emerging and established West Australian artists that represent our state and our College, to show their works in this unique exhibition. The works of more than 60 artists, chosen on medium, style and professional practice as well as their relationship to MLC, are represented. One-third of these creative individuals are members of the MLC community. This exhibition is an eclectic mix of artworks across six different mediums. All artworks are for sale and some of the proceeds from purchases will go towards supporting the arts at the College, such as artwork purchases, artist residencies or commissions.
HOW TO BUY ART On opening night doors open at 6.30pm for viewing. At 6.50pm the exhibition will be opened by Dr Dorothy Erickson. Sales commence at 7pm. When you have identified the artwork(s) you would like to buy, find a runner (wearing a bright hat) to assist you. They will write the purchase slip, place a red sticker on the chosen artwork label and direct you to the Sales Desk. Full purchase price must be paid at time of purchase. We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard and cash. All items will remain on display and for sale until the end of the exhibition. Works will need to be collected by the buyer on Sunday May 7 between 3 and 5 pm. Please bring your receipt when collecting works along with some wrapping material to protect your artwork(s). If your favourite artwork is already sold, please speak to a salesperson about commissions or similar works that may be available for purchase. Thank you for your support.
