Song of Solomon DVD Study The Bridge - Goldsboro Sunday’s - 6:30pm

Last week we discussed “The Art of Courtship” pt. 1. We started with chapter 2 and this week we will be going over pt.2 of “The Art of Courtship”. We learned about the process of dating, courting and ultimately marriage. God designed the institution of marriage, but for us to experience this awesome unity between a man and woman we must follow God’s guidelines. Solomon talks about trust, respect and how a woman should be pursued in a holy way. Please join us as we continue on in the way of what a godly relationship should look like in the pursuit of marriage. Child care will be provided.

upcoming events Paintball

Real McCoy’s - Princeton Sunday, May 2nd - 2:00pm Get ready for some hard hitting sports fun. This is the first time we have had a Driven sponsored paintball tournament. Girls, please don’t let this intimidate you. You are welcome to participate in this event and “No” you want be singled out as a target. We will meet at WC after second service and head to Bojangle’s for a quick lunch. We will then leave from there and go to Real McCoy’s. Cost is $30 and extra paintballs are $10. This includes gun, mask, air, and 500 paintballs. Vests can be rented for an extra $5. You may bring your own guns, but paint and air must be purchased from Real McCoy’s. We hope to see you there. The more the merrier.

4th Sunday Lunch

Torero’s - Downtown Goldsboro Sunday, May 23th - 12:30pm (after 2nd Service) Torero’s is where it’s at this month for our fourth Sunday Lunch. Voted one of Goldsboro’s best restaurants we will look forward to see all of you there. Please bring a friend. This is a great time to meet new people and discuss our upcoming events. We hope to see you there.

We are off to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this year. We usually go to King’s Dominion or Carowinds and check out the park and the Christian concerts, but this year we decided to change it up a little. We will leave Whitley at 7:30am and be back late Saturday night (technically it will be Sunday morning). So if you are scheduled for any volunteering on Sunday you may want to reschedule. Busch Gardens is a beautiful place and if you are looking to experience different countries this would be a cheap way to do it. There are many countries that are represented and you can get a little taste of each one. So save up your money and come join us. Money is due by Sunday, May 30th. The cost is $51 plus meals.
