AEMC rep should pass report to Gio by tomorrow in preparation for Wednesday meeting with VP, etc. DSWS: feedback - sponsorships - plastic materials Clarification on guidelines: deliveries for small groups not included Clarify definition of small group As an institution, Sanggu has no say in implementation. - Emphasize culture of dialogue during Wednesday meeting. Initial consultaion with AH1N1 issue (health reasons) last year's AEMC: plan for this year was energy conservation Why was Sanggu not consulted? Implement guidelines in phases. Include a student representative in the decision-making body, specifically for packaging and FQA Violation of the Magna Carta: Students have the right to consultation before the implementation of a school rule (Art. 5, Sec. 5) Motion: to extend agenda by 5 minutes (seconded, approved) Concern raised: No consultation regarding jay-walking rules. Motion: direct all concerns regarding traffic and parking rules and regulations to the CSR - include in Friday agenda (seconded, approved)

PARKING TOMAS MORATO - No transparency regarding regulations - Answers being demanded from proponents of ordinance - no real response - Very few sectors attended last meeting - Question: consultation with different sectors - July 11 meeting - public consultation regarding ordinance (including church, PTA, businesses, etc.) - no one new about it - passed 1st public hearing without much consultation - 2nd public hearing scheduled - Student councils should lead initiatives - QCSPA - authorized body - Coalition formed - Sanggu invited - CIA Chair recommendation: support - show concern as citizens of Quezon City - We will eventually need to tackle this. - Problem: one-sided perspective - only based on one contact - Listen to the points of other side. - Recommendations: do fact-finding. Wait for reports from CIA before forwarding to reps for consultation. - Motion: draft stand, perform fact-finding, consult with reps (presentation - 2 weeks from now) - APPROVED * Clarify whether or not there will be classes on July 27.

ATF 2010 - Current Head: Anton Avancena - Working with all units in the Loyola Schools - Voters' reg, education, mobilization and monitoring - to systematically create a solution to problems of democratic institutions - Satellite voters' registration during the summer semester - Compiling all efforts. - Voters' registration will end by October 2009. - Only less than 1.8 million have registered at COMELEC stations. - By October, Anton will be on full blast. Maan will take care of Voters' Education until October. Work together upon end of Registration efforts. - Voters' Ed and Critical Thinking 1. Impartial candidate profiling and review - info from SLB available 2. Provision for adequate avenues for candidate interaction - see from different points of view 3. Agenda setting and recommendations on issues relevant to the community 4. Provisions for political space in order to interact, inquire, inform and reflect on the 2010 candidates and their platforms 5. Education on the automation process - first time for poll automation - We already have the information. It is just a matter of developing it, and promulgating them. - Election Monitoring an Mobilization 1. Empowerment and encuragement of citizens towards voting on election days 2. Active participation in parallel countin in designated areas in day of counting 3. Reporting of irregular election incidents 4. Assistance in close observation in effecting efficient and transparent vote counting - Structure: Coordinating Secretariat - current: Anton and team + Maan - Programs - forums, etc. - Logistics - reservations, transportation, coordination with COMELEC - Finance/Data - CFD(?), all financial issues, collecting data, partner with A-Stat and other organizations - Promo - encourage students to get involved, already met with MCA - DnP - part of PR campaign, more for reporting - Draft certain representatives / possible contact people - Chairs - Grassroots approach to be used. - team to be formed - Execs who have been approached for involvement: GMA Marin, Phil Disini, Janlee Dungca

Work with the BCA: Secretariat team will take charge of uniformity/replication of efforts - high impact, sustainable 2nd Year BCA - working with the NSTP; ym and multiply sites for better information dissemination - news feeds 3rd Year BCA - no specific project for elections 4th Year BCA - currently preoccupied with graduation and senior events Existing efforts of BCAs needed. BCAs willing to work with ATF2010. Election Forum with YFC being planned for September. - Allot at least one session for FFC areas. - Faith perspective to voting RR Raneses: As Ateneo, we should set specific agendas. (What do we want our president to do?) Financial side: aim to make ATF 2010 sustainable - only a small part of Sanggu funds has been allocated for ATF 2010 efforts - Sanggu appears to be taking a greater role. (Discuss during next CB meeting.) Motion: to extend agenda by 5 minutes - APPROVED Get all sectors and departments involved, based on competencies.
