Give a detailed description of their physical looks and brief account of their powers and weaknesses. !Paragraph 2: Describe in detail the powers and weaknesses of your god/goddess. What types of animals or objects are special or sacred to them? !Paragraphs 3 and 4: Describe in detail a major story/myth associated with your god/goddess. Why is the story significant to the ancient Greeks? Why do you feel this myth was created and what do you see as its purpose? !Paragraph 5: What are the most interesting facts about your god/goddess? Any time you write a piece of information that is not common knowledge or does not come directly from your own brain, you must cite where you got the information from. If you don始t, that始s intellectual theft. All citations will be in Modern Language Association (MLA) format. We will be learning how to do this in class. Works Cited: Your paper must have a Works Cited page describing what sources you have used for your paper. We will be discussing the proper MLA format of a Works Cited page in class. Picture(s): Your paper must have at least one picture of your Greek god or goddess. You can take the picture from the internet (you must cite it if you do) or draw one. The more pictures, the better. Sentences: Each paragraph should have a minimum of 8-10 sentences. Format of Paper: Your paper must be double-spaced and typed in 12 point Times New Roman font. Every page must have the correct MLA header and be numbered. I will show you how to do this in class. Grading: This paper is worth a test grade (it counts three times). Refer to the rubric for detailed information.
