PULLMAN LONDON ST PANCRAS
Nestled in the heart of swinging London, this designer establishment was Pullman’s first ever British address. The majority of the 312 rooms and suites boast spectacular views across the city, whilst the corridors are lined with black and white prints showcasing Brit rock’s biggest names: The Cure, Morrissey, Nirvana… Not to be missed is the in-house restaurant/bar, the Golden Arrow, where Salvatore, Diana and Bob proudly present one of the city’s most outstanding whisky collections stocked with no fewer than 200 bottles from all around the world.

What do you look for in a good hotel chain as someone who’s constantly on the road? First and foremost, consistency. Quality of service that is always second-to-none, a stable team (I love it when the doorman recognizes me), and above all, an identity. Whether your establishment’s been around for 100 days or 100 years, it needs its own specific vibe. Nothing scares me more on walking into a hotel than hearing the phrase “as you can see, we’ve been refurbishing…”
to unwind and indulge in some leisure activities within the confines of the hotel? It goes without saying that that’s a real plus. A good restaurant, a bar where you can chill out and sip a nightcap. But those aren’t the things that will get the contract signed or help you fulfil your mission. When travelling for business, efficiency is king. Has Internet changed the way we travel? Some would say it has. Personally, I’m more likely to listen to a friend’s advice than the blurb on a hotel website. You can’t beat feedback from someone who’s actually tried and tested a place themselves.
