MOST COMMON Questions HOW DO I SCHEDULE A TOUR?

Call or email Castle Farms to schedule a private wedding tour with one of our Venue Specialists. This focused tour generally lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Call 231-2370884 ext. 248 today to reserve your appointment!

WHAT IS NEEDED TO RESERVE?

A signed Wedding Contract and a first payment of 15% are required to secure your room and date.

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT POLICY?

The venue payments will be distributed over the months prior to your wedding according to a Deposit Schedule. The final balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding.

WHAT IS YOUR FOOD AND ALCOHOL POLICY?

You are able to choose your own catering and bartending company to serve the food and alcohol at your wedding, which is a huge factor in helping to customize your Castle experience to your tastes! We do require that caterers and bartenders are licensed and insured. For the

large rooms, you may bring in your own beer and liquor for your reception, either purchased on your own or through your chosen caterer. If wine is served, you will choose from Castle Farms’ exclusive line by working with a Castle representative to select and order the wines for your event. For the Queen’s Tavern, Castle Farms wine is the only alcoholic beverage allowed.

DO YOU RECOMMEND VENDORS FOR MY WEDDING?

There are many vendors that we work with regularly and highly recommend. Please see our Preferred Service Providers list on our website for suggestions in each category of service.

WHO WILL I BE WORKING WITH?

Our Venue Specialists will be the ones to guide you through the inquiry and reservation process. From answering your initial questions, to touring and reserving, they will be your go-to resource. Once you reserve, our office of Venue Coordinators is available throughout the planning process for tips and recommendations. Two months prior

to your event, a Venue Coordinator will be designated for your wedding. Your Venue Coordinator will work with you to gather all of the information needed for the Castle to prepare for your wedding. They will supervise your ceremony and transition to cocktail hour and reception. Your Assistant Venue Coordinator will assist with your ceremony and stay throughout the evening of your event, monitoring vendors, keeping the timeline ontrack, making sure bathrooms stay stocked, and being the go-to person for any items needing attention.

ARE THERE HOTELS NEAR CASTLE FARMS?

Charlevoix, just 2 miles from Castle Farms, has several hotel, motel, B & B’s, and rental house options, some of which are listed on our Preferred Service Providers list. While some traditional room blocks are available, we recommend listing multiple accommodation options for your guests.

CAN WE HOST JUST OUR CEREMONY OR RECEPTION AT CASTLE FARMS? Absolutely! Please contact a Venue Specialist for specific details.
