Bay View Wine Trail To learn more about the wineries that make up the Bay View Wine Trail, visit Beards Brewery 215 East Lake Street 231.753.2221 ~ Beards Brewery is stretching its wings and getting some wings (food) along with the delicious craft beer they love to make and share. They are moving to a bigger site and are looking to be one of the most inviting places in Petoskey. Watch for new location to open in early June 2017.

Cellars of Royal Farms 10445 North US 31, Ellsworth 231.599.3222 ~ Only the freshest fruits from Royal Farms are used when making the wines and ciders for the Cellars of Royal Farms. Stop by and enjoy a sip or two and be sure to try the pies, too! Crooked Vine Vineyard and Winery 8370 Lakeview Rd., Alanson 231.881.6582 ~ Crooked Vine Vineyard and Winery is a family owned boutique winery on 38 acres, just seven miles north of Petoskey. Vineyards, panoramic views of the Petoskey hills and surrounding lakes can be seen as you relax with a glass of wine on the covered porch. Harbor Springs Vineyards & Winery and Tunnel Vision Brewery at Pond Hill Farm 5581 S. Lake Shore Drive, Harbor Springs 231.526.3276 ~ Harbor Springs Vineyards & Winery at Pond Hill Farm invites you to enjoy wine and crisp hard cider in their Tasting Room. Come for a sip and leave with a bottle (or a case!) of wine with a special Michigan twist. Voted Best of the Northwest winery in 2015. Also try the Tunnel Vision Brewery selection of beers made on site. Mackinaw Trail Winery & Brewery 3423 U.S. 131, Petoskey 231.487.1910 ~ The winery sits on 30 acres of beautiful rolling hills, which are planted with 15 acres of grapes. In its ten years of operation, Mackinaw Trail continues to be one of the most awarded and recognized wineries in the state of Michigan. Located in the Petoskey Winery location, the Mackinaw Trail Brewing Company has established itself as a premier microbrewery in the northern Michigan area. Maple Moon Sugarbush & Winery 4454 Atkins Road, Petoskey 231.487.9058 ~ Maple Moon Sugarbush & Winery is truly unique. It is America’s first and ONLY maple winery. Customers rave that the wines have a maple tone with a cream finish, varying from semidry to sweet. You can also find maple syrup, candies and gifts while you are there. Petoskey Brewing 1844 M-119, Petoskey 231.753.2057 ~ Petoskey Brewing is housed in a unique brick building that is 70 feet high, but only 20 feet deep. The building, known as the “Old Brewery,” was first completed in 1898 and was used to brew Petoskey Sparkle beer until 1915. Today, it offers a variety of craft beers on tap and a full menu of pub fare.

Petoskey Farms Vineyard & Winery 3720 Atkins Road, Petoskey 231.290.WINE (9463) ~ Petoskey Farms Vineyard & Winery lets you enjoy wine tasting while sitting on the 60-foot outdoor patio overlooking 22 acres of beautiful hills and rolling countryside. Don’t miss their Thursday nights on the patio with food and wine, and take home a bottle of local wine for that special friend to share your experience. Watch for Petoskey Farms’ new tasting room in downtown Petoskey, too. Rudbeckia Winery and Burnt Marshmallow Brewery 3379 Lake Grove Road, Petoskey 231.622.4173 ~ Rudbeckia Winery and Burnt Marshmallow Brewing are nestled in the rolling hills “Up North” above the 45th parallel in Petoskey. They are situated on 190 acres with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and Walloon Lake. The winery produces limited, artisanal wines, while the brewery specializes in unconventionally handcrafted beer using local ingredients. Seasons of the North Winery and Burt Lake Brewery 9090 W. M-68, Indian River 231.548.1280 ~ Seasons of the North is a small, premium winery offering distinctive, quality wine with an emphasis on local production. The winery’s uniqueness comes from the varieties of grapes that are perfectly adapted for the climate of northern Michigan. Burt Lake Brewery has a couple of beers on tap and will be adding more soon. Stiggs Brewery & Kitchen 112 South Park Street, Boyne City 231.497.6100 ~ Stiggs plans to offer many events and opportunities for their patrons. These include brewery tours, beer classes, beer tasting sessions, and more. For now, stop in and let them pour you a cold one. Walloon Lake Winery 3149 Intertown Road, Petoskey 231.622.8645 ~ Walloon Lake Winery is a modern winery focused on creating the very best wines made from cold hardy grape varieties. It offers Pilates classes, onsite food trucks and wine and canvas events on 36 rolling acres near beautiful Walloon Lake.

If you are interested in tasting without the worry of driving afterward, check out our tours. Bay to Bay Shuttle 3916 Charlevoix Avenue, Petoskey 232.373.5797 ~ Bay to Bay Shuttle offers wine tours for private groups for the Bay View Wine Trail. They will pick you up at your home, hotel or any location to take you tasting at some of the many great wineries in the area. Blue Lakes by the Bay Transportation Petoskey 231.932.1065 ~ Blue Lakes by the Bay Transportation will take your group on 5-hour wine tasting tours featuring the wineries of Petoskey, along the Bayview Wine Trail, with breathtaking views of Little Traverse Bay and the lush countryside. Northern Michigan Wine and Beer Tours 410 Mason St, Charlevoix 231.437.3339 ~ Northern Michigan Wine and Beer Tours do just what their name implies – offer tours of the wineries and breweries in the area. Tours last approximately 4 hours for $400 (plus tip and tasting fees).
