Associates of the Week: Dan & Adina facilitate Bible Translation in South Asia, and their family is in Asia this summer. Please pray for their meetings with Wycliffe colleagues. Dan and Adina are coordinating the worship and prayer times, and leading a one-day marriage workshop. Aidan and Micah are serving on the kids program team. After this, Dan will be leading a workshop for new translation software. Emily is traveling separately to Southeast Asia with a group of engineering students. Pray for safe travel as her team treks into remote areas to visit rural churches and to visit a training center that serves the medical, educational, and spiritual needs of internally displaced people (IDPs). The last part of our trip will be up in the hill country visiting a mother-tongue translation project and trekking into a few rural areas: one has a growing body of Christ, one only a few new believers. Emily will join us for the last ten days. We are so blessed by the opportunity to celebrate our upcoming 25th wedding anniversary back there with all our children. Pray for Adina’s mom staying back in Montana, that she will have a good support system. Thank you MAC for standing with us in prayer and in God’s Word this summer! Summer Schedule for Youth Ministry: We can’t wait for summer and will be celebrating with our annual BBQ’s on June 13th (for DIG) and 14th (for Summit) at Wapikiya Park from 6-8 p.m. Make sure your student comes prepared, wearing something they don’t mind getting color powder on…(don’t worry, it washes out)! The following week (June 20th/21st) we will be starting our summer format for both youth groups. We will be doing a Bible study through the book of Mark. We will still meet at the same times (6:30 for DIG and 7:15 for Summit) at the church and will head to a park to have our study and hangout and play games afterwards. That same week we also begin our Summer Hangouts. For DIG we will meet in the foyer at church every Wednesday and for Summit we will meet every Thursday. Summer hangouts go from 11:30-1:30 and we will load up in the van and head somewhere for lunch together (make sure your student brings money for lunch) and then head to a park to hangout and play games! Stay up to date with all of our summer activities @ macmissoula.com/youth or on Instagram: @ digsummit. As part of our partnership with Child & Family Services, MAC will be presenting the staff at Child and Family Services with a basket of gift cards worth $10-20 to restaurants where workers can take children out to eat who have been removed from their home and are waiting at the office for a placement. We are asking MAC members to purchase the gift cards and bring them to church anytime during the month of May. Suggestions for gift cards are: Subway, Wendy’s, McDonalds, Arby’s, Jimmy John’s, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Taco Bell or any other restaurant kids enjoy. If you have any questions, please contact Lara at 251-1233 and thanks for your continued help with this ministry! Registration is now open for Summer Adventure Week! Please register your kids online at macmissoula.com or at the MAC kids desk in the foyer. Summer Adventure Week is coming June 12-16 and we need your help! We are still looking for volunteers.
