Events Committee, Todd Bugge, Chair The Events Committee would like to thank staff for organizing such a successful Business Excellence Gala. The Committee is now working on the Candlelight Parade and planning for 2011. If you are interested in joining the Committee they meet at 8am every second Tuesday of the month. Tourism Committee, Jo-Anne Chadwick, Chair With four tactics of the Community Tourism Foundation Plan well under way or completed, the Tourism Committee has identified four more for 2011. Using the new Tourism Mission logo they attended the West Coast Women’s Show at Tradex. They encourage members to participate in the Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival in November. Government Affairs, Elyssa Lockhart, Chair Advocating on your behalf, the Government Affairs Committee has been successful in lobbying on your behalf. They have actively pursued relevant topics.
