Annual Sonograms May Solve Mirena Migration, Other Problems
Mirena is one popular brand for IUD that is widely sold to women not only in the United States but worldwide. However, there are many Mirena users who have reported that the device has caused them with several side effects. Two of the serious health complications triggered by Mirena are device migration and ectopic pregnancies. A study conducted in 2011 has recommended women to undergo sonogram every year to check the device if it is functioning well and to ensure womenâ€™s health. Because of Bayerâ€™s lack of information about their product, it left women shaken of the fact that their health may be put at risk because of using the defective birth control device. Injured women have been filing lawsuits against Bayer to compensate for their sufferings.
