Robert is a former Zen Buddhist monk who lived at the Nan Hua Chinese Buddhist monastery for five years. There he studied Buddhist psychology and philosophy with many master teachers both of the Chinese as well as Tibetan Buddhist traditions. He is a clinical hypnotherapist, life coach, a mindfulness based meditation teacher. Whilst living at the monastery he facilitated mindfulness based stress management and work-life balance workshops & retreats and also worked within the Correctional Prison Sector where he founded the Lotus Project which introduces Mindfulness Based Life Skills to individuals in the prison environment. He recently relocated to Bournemouth from the Isle of Skye, where he spent six months on a personal healing retreat. Robert works in the mental health field and also volunteers his time at Dorset HealthCare NHS offering mindfulness based life skills to people experiencing mental health difficulties. He is available for one to one consultations at the Red Heart Fund Complementary Medicine Clinic in Bournemouth as well as the Zen ZONE in Poole.
