FLOWER ARRANGING

Jason Asselin Motorcycle Enthusiast

Faith Cass Cass School of Floral Design

Are you a new or inexperienced motorcyclist who wants to learn the basics of motorcycle repair and maintenance? Learning a few routine checks is good for the life of your bike, and good for your wallet, too! We will cover the basics such as changing your motorcycles fluids, valve adjustments, and preparing for winter storage. We will break-down a motorcycle engine and see how the components operate. Hands-on tool operation and proper use will be covered.

Discover the essential elements and principles of floral design while creating three different styles of arrangements. You will learn how to achieve long-lasting freshness and select the perfect containers and flowers for the look you want to achieve. Seasonal flowers, foliage, and themes will be emphasized. At the end of each hands-on class, you will take home an arrangement you created to enjoy or give as a gift. A materials fee of $45 (cash or check only) is payable at the first class.

TIME FOR TERRARIUMS Faith Cass Cass School of Floral Design Terrariums are a great way to add some green life to your home or office. These delightful, small scale landscapes require very little space and maintenance so they are perfect for apartment dwellers and those who want a little green growth in their lives but don’t have time to water and care for plants or a garden. In this class you will learn how to select the optimal containers for terrariums, the types of plants, mosses and materials appropriate for terrariums, how to arrange these elements for the desired look and how to care for terrariums. Each student will make two terrariums using combinations of ferns, ivy plants, succulents, mosses, twigs and decorative rocks. Students are welcome to bring in items they would like to include to their terrariums such as sea shells, special stones, feathers, miniature figurines or toys.
