Social Media The event’s marketing toolkit also included a comprehensive social media plan which included: • Facebook – Made In Maui County Festival • Twitter – @MIMCF2018 • Google+ – Made In Maui County Festival • Pinterest – Made In Maui County Festival • Instagram – Made In Maui County Festival The MIMCF and Alaska Airlines offered an Instagram Contest. The public was encouraged to snap a photo of themselves, share why they love to attend the festival on Maui, and include the hashtags #MIMCF2018 and #AlaskaAirlines. The winner won roundtrip air travel for two on Alaska Airlines plus festival tickets. During the event, a social media squad led by Tambara Garrick also helped to encourage dialogue and expand media reach.
