The design strategy for the Guadalajara intervention came from a field trip to the center of Agua Azul, GDL. The city is filled with a such a diverse community, through research an obeservation it was evident that the zoning was mixed and there were car repair shops next to houses, markets next to schools and convenient stores next to hotels. As the population is moving outward the goal was to buffer the lines of GLD’s social divider and bring the population back into the heart of the city center. The intervention was to buffer this harsh transition through pixelation.
