why did you decide to move from slovakia? well, probably the biggest reason was not enough options to do whatever i wanted to do, skateboarding, business, whatever. and i also hate slovak politics, who are just stealing & destroying all the country & people livin there. livin in slovakia is often waste of life. was there any particular situation after which you decided that you are done with your home country? there were many actually, i remember it started a long time ago when i started to see how it really works in skateboarding business there - for example that you dont have to skate good or take places in contests, if u want a sponsor, u just have to know ”right“ people who can get it for you. and thats fucked up. i didnt want to lick anybody‘s ass to get something cheaper or for free but fortunately i skipped this “phase“. one of the last situations was when i saw behaving of slovak and czech skate websites, which refuse to publish your topic if another one from them published it even few seconds one before the other. but they have no problem to copy everything from Trasher or so...absolute hate. how is it out there comparing to slovakia ? in skateboarding, but also other things are much more developed, more money in business, more skateparks, more skateshops, more streetspots cuz its not so damaged everywhere, more people have sponsors, but it doesnt mean that they skate better. surprisingly, same as europeans think that all americans are rippin, same think americans about europe, cuz they see only videos where is just the best skateboarding. i would also say that the mentality of people/skateboarders is better, more positive, more friendly. you know, some of the guys in slovakia got better, got sponsors, photos in magazines, etc. and started to be so proud that they even stopped sayin hello to their friends or pretend they dont see them if they can’t use them or whatever. pride is very common in slovakia, and mostly people have nothing to be proud of. bullshit.
