WINTER 2010

PRESORTED STANDARD US POSTAGE PAID MID-FLORIDA, FL PERMIT NO. 20590

Thanks for everything 2009, Hello 2010!

Millennium Luxury Coaches 4500 Orange Blvd. Sanford, Florida 32771

Millennium’s New Luxury Rear Bath Floor Plan Every Millennium owner is unique which is why each coach we build is tailored just for them. To better keep up with the needs of our growing cliental, we are happy to introduce another floor plan in the Millennium line-up, this one with a stunning full rear bath. Available on all models and slide types, the rear bath is quite spacious, and offers the privacy of an enclosed shower, while freeing up space in the stateroom or hallway where the shower is most commonly found. The addition of a new floor plan is just one example of how Millennium is making strides to accommodate every type of lifestyle, and do whatever it takes to ensure the best possible RVing experience. Perfection, it’s in the details…, and at Millennium there are plenty of details to go around.

2009 was a busy year for Millennium and things are only speeding up for 2010. It was just a year ago that we expanded our facility to include a new Sales Office & Design Center, in addition to a larger service center, and we’re already outgrowing both! 2009 was also a year of firsts for us. We had coaches feature new 1’ inch thick LED TVs, introduced a new floorplan with a stunning rear bath, and as of last month we received Canadian Standards Approval for the first Millennium to find its home in Canada with more to follow.

In keeping with our trend of incorporating the latest and greatest technology into our coaches we’ve started to use LED TVs in our outdoor entertaining bays due to their ability to display truer blacks, higher contrast ratios, and a wider range of colors, while taking up less space than traditional LCD screen TVs. LED’s also eliminate the outdoor glare problems that plasma’s tend to have. To help put that 52” LED TV to good use we’ll be outfitting new coaches with the Crestron ADMS Intermedia Delivery System, with the exclusive “WorldSearch” feature. This allows the viewer to search for content on their collection of BlueRay disks, Music library, Networked PCs, Internet sites, and both free and fee based content providers. Whether you’re in the mood for your favorite comedy, want to watch home movies of your grandkids, find that song you can’t get out of your head or just catch-up on the latest stock market news, all is possible with Crestron ADMS.

balance issues and identifies vehicle pulls faster than ever. Along with the Road Force, the Hunter computerized alignment system will ensure you always get the smoothest ride possible. So with all that, how could we possibly make a Millennium even more comfortable to be in? With our new Luxury Driver Seat! It provides the ultimate in driver comfort, being fully adjustable, side and 4 way AirLumber support system, Air-Suspension, adjustable armrest, and even a built in massage system with heating and cooling. The only problem you’ll have is deciding who gets to sit in it! We thank you all, our extended family, for your continued support, and while our family is growing every day, we will always be there for each one of you with the superior customer services that Millennium is known for. It’s going to be a great 2010!!!

We’re spending just as much time updating technology in our service center too, with the latest arrival being Hunter’s new Road Force GSP9700 diagnostic balancer. The Road Force balancer allows us to improve accuracy even further than before and solves vibration problems,

Nelson & Evelyn

Hometown(s): Nelson is originally from Puerto Rico. After spending several years in the US Army where he specialized in Avionics and electronic flight controls he began a career in private aviation, large vessel control centers and eventually systems design in some of the first Prevost conversions. Evelyn grew up in Virginia, but has called Florida home for 19 years. With an eye for color and design, she personally oversees the creation of each and every Millennium. Rounding out their family are daughter Alex who just turned 14 and son Adam, 10 and of course their dog Kiki. How long have you been RVing? “Well I grew up camping in tents and pop-ups” says Evelyn “but Nelson went straight to the top, his first time “camping” was in a Prevost! I still think he needs to sleep in a sandy tent just once!” Adam and Alex have grown up RV’ing and know their way around a Millennium better than most. What do you enjoy most about your Millennium? “What’s not to love? A Millennium has everything you need and more! At the end of the day though, the thing we love most is that it brings our family together in a whole new way” says Nelson. “Some of our best memories with the kids were created going cross country in a Millennium. Whether we were looking for aliens in Roswell, NM or stopping for hot boiled peanuts in Georgia, there’s been no shortage of adventures for us!” What are some of your favorite places to go in your RV? There are just some really fabulous RV parks out there and we’ve been to almost all of them it seems. Some of our favorites though, are just little spots we’ve found over the years most of which we have to squeeze into. We spent about 5 weeks on the road this past Summer and had a great time. We were in Cheyenne, WY for Pioneer Days and then on to Michigan for our Millennium rally. We finished up our trip with a week in Pigeon Forge where we stayed at The Dells RV Park and zip lined the longest zip line in North America. “Our kids had some great material for their “What I did this Summer” essay!” says Evelyn. Who likes to drive and who likes to direct? Nelson likes to drive but then so does Evelyn, but usually while Evelyn’s driving she’s directing too! Most memorable moment RVing? “Well I learned the hard way that after dark the tinted windows aren’t effective window coverings!” said Evelyn. “But the most memorable moment would have to be the stop sign incident in Colorado. Somehow we ended up cross ways in an intersection and couldn’t go forward or backwards. We ended up having to physically remove a stop sign with an audience of about 50 cars, all of which were waiting for us to clear the intersection!” Nelson denies any knowledge of this. Hobbies: When they’re not busy building coaches, Nelson and Evelyn are competitive ballroom dancers. “But our favorite family activities are snowboarding and SCUBA diving. Alex became a certified SCUBA diver at the age of 10 and Adam strapped on his first pair of skis when he was 2. We love just about anything we can all do together!”

The Best RV Resort

Known as the Sunset Coast you’ll find some of the most beautiful sunsets in Southwest Michigan at Sunnybrook RV Resort. As the sun dips to find its resting place on Lake Michigan it puts on a picture perfect brilliant show of color. Sunnybrook RV Resort is located in South Haven, a tourist destination for over 100 years when large ships brought tourist from Chicago. The transportation methods have changed, instead of ships docking in the harbor our visitors arrive in RV’s. But the reason has stayed the same, relaxation in a beautiful location! The sandy soil and perfect weather conditions have allowed the fruit industries to flourish. South Haven is known as the blueberry capital of the world and celebrates it with a festival every late July. This unique environment makes the area a prime location for growing fruits and vegetables. From spring till fall something is in season. The area has wineries, champion golf courses, art galleries and enough quality restaurants to satisfy the most discriminating tastes. South Haven is a port town so there are plenty of marinas. The Maritime Museum has wonderful exhibits that celebrate the connection South Haven has to the great lakes. There are many port towns not far away that are unique to themselves. Saugatuck, located 20 miles away, is a worldrenowned art colony and St Joseph will offer many attractions. Either of these beautiful towns would make for a fun day trip. For those who like to play the game of chance we have two new casinos less than 45 minutes away. One is the largest in Michigan near New Buffalo while the other is in Battle Creek, home of Kellogg cereal.

Do it all or do nothing at all! Perhaps your idea of a vacation is to sit by the pool or the private lake. A high quality resort that lets you enjoy the area from the comfort of your coach, Sunnybrook RV Resort was built just three years ago with the discriminating RV’er in mind. The gated community offers large sites. Most are at least 45’ x 90’ with 100 amp service and concrete pads to handle even the largest coaches. Wi-Fi throughout the resort allows you stay connected and the private 5-acre lake offers great fishing and a sandy beach for dipping your toes in the water and getting a little “dis-connected”. The sites border the lake and the ravine that overlooks Butternut Creek, a small tributary of the Black River, is heavily treed with a meandering hiking trail for an afternoon walk or for those a little more adventurous take a bike ride to town. The Kal-Haven trail is one mile from the resort. An old railroad spur, this bike trail lets you take a three-mile ride under a tree canopy that wanders along the black river and drops you off in the downtown. The 6,000 square foot clubhouse is pure luxury. Its amenities include a business center, large kitchen and gathering area, an exercise room, and a great room for movies and games, all available for your use. As you sit by the pool relaxing, don’t be surprised if you hear the songs from Margaritaville serenading you. The resort has been designed to showcase the beauty of Michigan and brings to mind summers spent at the lake cottage. This architectural style has been enjoyed locally for years and brings back memories of warm summer nights spent relaxing with families on the front porch. Sunnybrook is rated a 10 – 10 – 9.5 from Trailer Life, a 5 star facility from Woodalls and a Grade A two years running from Guest Review. When you ad it all up, whether you own a site or are just passing through for a visit, there is no better place to spend your summer than Sunnybrook RV Resort! Kiki

“Our Finicky-est Friends!” Meet Kiki, the Millennium Mascot! Kiki joined the Millennium Family 8 years ago when she was adopted by her parents Alex and Adam Figueroa. They share joint custody but in truth, “grandma” (Evelyn) does all the work! Growing up Millennium style hasn’t always been easy. First, there are the frequent trips in beautiful motorhomes traveling all across the US and of course her social calendar is always packed meeting up with other of Millennium’s Finicky-est Friends! “I know the sound of a Millennium getting ready to pull out” says Kiki “and my bag is always packed and ready to go!” Often the first to board so as not to be left behind, Kiki can usually be found riding shotgun. Truly an experienced RV’er, we think she may even be able to use the navigation system. Kiki is a big advocate of pet friendly RV parks and she was the inspiration for Millennium’s first “Pet Bay”. With video monitoring and climate control it’s a fun way for pets to travel while still maintaining access to the interior of the coach through an access door. Once you’re parked you can open the bay door and it makes a great “doggie bay” with a screened door. Now that’s roughin’ it!
