Machine Gun Preacher Sam Childers going to visit Covenant Generations Church at Tucson – Arizona
Sam Childers, known to the world as machine gun preachers who once was a shot gunner with drug dealer has now the only aim to help the children of Southern Sudan in Africa. He has an orphanage named Angels of east Africa. Since past 13 years Sam has helped 200 children and more than thousand with housing and education. Sam Childers mission is “to help when no one else will”. Almost 77% of the orphanages educate children till the age of 15 or 16 but Sam’s is the only one that provides education till the age of 26. Sam Childers is not only known for his humanitarian work but also a great motivational speaker. Sam Childers is the only American to receive mother Teresa Award for Social justice.
In order to raise funds for the orphanage along with inspiring people to get up and do something, Sam tours various places across the U.S as well as other areas. At the moment in Ethiopia, Nazret a six-story building project is in process that will help children to be independent. Last week Sam Childers was at El Paso, Texas where he revealed his documentary, a sermon where he told story about him and his orphanage. Now Sam will be at Covenant generations church Tucson, Arizona on 21st and 22nd of June. This church was launched by Scott and Jamie Gurule in January of 2003. Pastor Scott has a powerful Word for the young generation but and a unique style that is relevant to all ages.
