To whom this may concern, As a recent graduate from the University of Southern California, with a Bachelors degree in Architectural Studies, I am seeking a job opportunity with a reputable Architectural firm, such as yours, and would be extremely delighted to be part of your team. I strongly believe my knowledge and skill sets, acquired through my educational career at the USC School of Architecture and previous work experience, would contribute greatly to the atmosphere your firm has to offer. As a hard working individual any opportunity provided to me would be very much appreciated. In addition, to contributing to the success of your firm I also hope to gain relevant experience within the architecture field in hopes of one day returning to graduate school to receive a professional degree in Architecture, such as the M.Arch, and subsequently beginning a process towards licensure. The process may be long and, most definitely, challenging, but through hard work and endurance I know it is possible. That being said, the most important first step would be to receive an opportunity to work with your firm, again, an opportunity I would honestly appreciate and would seriously look forward to. If any additional information is required, on my behalf, please feel free to contact me. Thank you. Sincerely, Miguel Lopez

Low Rise Development For Exercise 3 one was assigned a lot, approximately 5000 square feet, in South Pasadena and one was to design a 4 unit housing design within in a high density, low rise setting. The primary objective was to develop the spaces of each individual unit and more importantly resolve the aggregation of the multiple units and the common spaces on the shared site.

Medium Density Housing In Exercise 3 one was given three site to choose from, where one was to develop an urban housing scheme. Some of the main objectives were to develop a thoughtful housing typology that would be responsive to local lifestyles and concerns more prevelant to the greater L.A. area. More importantly to develop effective dwelling units that are aware of human scale and are contextually compatible.
