The Pastor and Debby will be on vacation from December 26 th through January 1st. Please call your Deacon if you have a need. We welcome Brother John Byrd, licensed minister from the Cape Fear Conference as our speaker today.

The Hinnant Outreach Center will open January 2nd for normal hours ( 9 AM-1 PM) during the day. We are still seeking volunteers (especially males). We would like to open on Fridays but at this point do not have the staff. Let L. C. Smith or the Pastor know if you can be of assistance.

Beginning in January, all of our Group Meetings will be held on Family Night at 7:00 PM (following our Family Night Dinner) Cherubs; PreTeens; Teens; Young Women’s Circle; Woman’s Auxiliary; and, Men in Action for Christ. Choir Practice will be at 7:45 PM.

The Outreach Center is collecting “Prom Dresses” to be given away at the end of the school year for young women that do not have the means to buy dresses to attend the Junior-Senior Proms. Please search your closets and ask friends and neighbors if they might help with this project. You can drop them off at the Outreach Center of give them to Marsha House.

We are still in need of non-perishable foods to put together “Emergency Food Boxes” for the Shepherd’s Table & Shepherd’s Pantry. Please bring your contributions and place in the designated containers in the Heritage Room or HOC. Canned & boxed items with good shelf life are appropriate. We especially need canned tomatoes & mixed vegetables.
