MESSAGE FROM THE GAFFER
Well another defeat last weekend for the adults but another cracking effort and if the match had lasted another 10 minutes I reckon we could have got a draw as we put a lot of pressure on after we scored our second – yet again we never gave up and battled to the end and it is no disgrace that we lost to the league leaders for the second week in a row. I really hope we keep the same mentality for this weekend as it wont be an easy game but if we play the right way then hopefully we can get that winning feeling back. Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended the race night. It was a great event with a lot of positive feedback and we made a nice profit. Looking forward to next week when the new ¼ zip tops will turn up – will be great seeing everyone wearing them and promoting our new fantastic sponsors. Don’t forget other items are available to buy from our new online club shop which has now taken 5 orders so far Wednesday seen our club celebrate the 3rd birthday of our youth teams – we started with 6 children and 1 coach and are now upto over 35 children with 5 coaches and we are still growing – we are looking for more children to join us so if anyone knows of any children under the age of 9 then please let me know – we could also do with some more volunteers to become coaches – again if anyone knows of anybody that may be interested let me know Good luck to all our teams this weekend #wearforlife Thanks Michael
