Raw desserts are ideal for anyone who loves sweets but is trying to avoid refined sugars, dairy products, unhealthful fats or gluten.

This 1.5 hour session will teach you what raw, vegan foods are all about and why they are important for optimal health.

This class will introduce you to the world of raw desserts and how to work with sweeteners that are more healthful for everyone. Any dessert you can make cooked--pies, tarts, crisps, ice creams, cookies, and cakes--you can make raw. Your sweetie, family and friends will never know these desserts are vegan or raw. They taste as decadent and delicious as their traditional counterparts!

We will cover nutritional benefits of raw foods and give you the specific steps you can take immediately to bring these healthy foods into your diet. This class will be mostly lecture with plenty of time for question and answers. It will include a demonstration of the most important raw snack you can eat during the winter time. You will receive lots of handouts to get you started, plus you will learn how to make the very important green smoothie. Snacks will be served!
