HESA Newsletter March 4, 2014 School of Engineering Internship Opportunity
The SELF Program in the School of Engineering is seeking a HESA student intern for the 2014-2015 academic year! This internship will provide the intern with experience in leadership development, including developing a leadership curriculum and connecting leadership development theory with activities. The SELF Fellows are a highly motivated group dedicated to learning and to changing the world through engineering and technology. Please email Heidie Grove-Tosaka at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information!
Student Conduct Hearing Board The Student Conduct Hearing Board will be conducting training on both March 5th and March 13th. This training will give students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to serve on a panel at formal judicial hearings and play an important role in determining the outcome of students who are alleged to have violated KU’s Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities. Participation on the board is a great way to volunteer on campus, learn about the student hearing process, and help educate students in a different way. Attached is a flyer with the information you need to get involved. Feel free to share with other students, staff, or faculty who may be interested. If you have any questions please contact Ernest Shepard at email@example.com.
