What I hear when I hear Floss As a child, there were things my parents said so frequently that they become so familiar in my ears; that they almost become second nature to hear, yet they exist only in the back of my mind. Piecing together this portfolio has been like writing a memoir; I take parts and pieces from my journey; my personal knowledge and memories. As I continue learning and trying to connect with the stories I am meant to tell through design, I still hear my Mama saying, floss. When I hear floss, I am reminded to be mindful in the process of learning; I am reminded to continue finding meaning in the things I take in.
