Chorus, come nella poesia di Kerouac, non descrive un luogo ben definito, non è uno spazio fisico reale, ma è qualcosa che risiede dentro l’autore, dentro il lettore, entrambi persi nel labirinto di significati e rimandi che questo assume. È un viaggio personale che serve a colmare una distanza, la stessa distanza che separa uomo e paesaggio. È un viaggio a ritroso, un processo di trasformazione, dalla morte alla vita.
106th Chorus, as in Kerouac’s poetry, does not describe a well-defined place, it is not a real physical space, but it is something that resides within the author, inside the reader, both lost in the maze of meanings and references that this assumes. It is a personal journey that serves to bridge a distance, the same distance that separates man and landscape. It is a journey backwards, a process of transformation, from death to life. 24
