Erick Fernandez On Raising Kids In The Keys
Erick Fernandez had seen a lot of Miami, but 11 years ago when he first visited Key Biscayne for business, he felt like he had discovered a special place. The client he was visiting confirmed that, yes, it really is what it looks like. “Driving over that bridge, with the beautiful scenic view of the water, seeing kids ride their bikes, people walking their dogs along the streets, we fell in love with it,” he says. Like many people, the beauty and character of the village drew the Fernandezes. KB is that place that they were looking for to raise their children. The neighborly spirit and slow-paced charm of the island called to them.
