The Forest Park South region of St. Louis consists of five neighborhoods: Forest Park Southeast, Botanical Heights, Tiffany, Kings Oak, and Cheltenham. The neighborhoods are important community units that provide apolitical support to the area.
The 17th Ward of St. Louis includes the neighborhoods of Shaw, Botanical Heights, Tiffany, Midtown, Central West End, Forest Park Southeast, Kings Oak, and Cheltenham. Residents of the ward elected Joseph D. Roddy as their alderman.

The Forest Park South Business Association was created to inspire growth of commercial establishments within the area bounded by Hampton Avenue on the west, 39th Street on the east, Forest Park Avenue on the north, and Interstate 44 on the south.
