When Christmas trees were no longer trees
A few years ago some cities began to dispense with the "Christmas tree" to place metal or plastic structures with a certain air of Christmas tree, read with conical or triangular shapes. Sometimes it is to offer an aspect of modernity, in other to facilitate their management (is removed and the following year remounted), in others by the tourist attraction to power Christmas ornament boasts the world's highest, impossible to achieve with a natural tree. This year has come to light that transition following the holiday structure of Grand Place in Brussels, which has replaced the traditional natural Christmas tree placed annually.
Potatoes wrapped in bacon
Ingredients: 8 slices of bacon cut 1 stick butter 5 large potatoes 1 pinch of salt
Preparation To begin preparing such delicious miniature potatoes, the first thing to do is peel the five major units you own and bring them to boil for a few minutes, or at least until the potatoes are soft, smooth and with the right consistency. After the potatoes are boiled, place a bar of butter in a large bowl and placing of a potato at a time, mash with the shredder, but I recommend using just a fork. Then continue adding other units until it achieves a consistent mash.Ah! And do not forget to add a pinch of salt. Certainly Christmas is a great recipe! Good appetite and Merry Christmas! :)
Oreo ice cream cake and chocolate
1 or 2 packages of Oreo cookie and then some more chocolate to decorate the cake, if desired
1 chocolate cake
2 liters vanilla ice cream, very soft left at room temperature
Elaboration 1) Prepare a round springform mold very lightly greased with butter. Cut the biscuits into pieces or smaller bite-size pieces, and divided into three parts. You make the cake as the recipe of chocolate cake and rid the brownie in a large bowl and mix about 1/3 of the cookies with cake mix and shredded or crushed. 2) Pour about 2/3 of a liter of very soft vanilla ice cream, and stir gently but thoroughly with cake mix. Put it in the mold. Press mixture into bottom of pan. 3) In a separate bowl, mix the remaining vanilla ice cream with another 1/3 of the crushed cookies. Add 1/2 cup chocolate sauce by mixing gently with a fork. Press mixture well above the cake mix. 4) Cover lightly with the mold foil or plastic and freeze for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. 5) When ready to serve, allow the cake to stand at room temperature for 5 minutes and cut with a knife around the mold so that it is easier to peel. Open the detachable mold gently. Refreeze unmolded cake while preparing the chocolate. 6) Gently melt the chocolate with the butter over low heat in a small saucepan. When completely melted, decorate the ice cream cake into wedges and serve with additional oreos for garnish .... and to enjoy this spectacular dessert!
