FIRM PROFILE: MH Architects offers a wide range of technical experience in winery programming and design. We work closely with winemakers to optimize wineries for specific production requirements. Whether the project involves new construction or renovation of an existing building, certain objectives remain constant. Spaces are organized to allow the winemaker necessary flexibility to make adjustments in processing strategy during the life of the building. Room organization is integrated with proper plumbing, mechanical, and refrigeration design, allowing the winemaker to enjoy a sophisticated level of temperature, humidity, and ventilation control. When spatial constraints impose, production areas are programmed with the ability to switch between multiple functions from harvest to bottling. In addition to design, MH Architects provides project management services with the coordination of various engineers involved in a particular project. From schematic design to construction administration, building systems efficiently weave together to save money in construction costs and create a highly functional winery facility.
