DICK: To turn on the music. Must be getting old, I'm getting headaches. TOM: (concerned) Headaches? DICK: Nothing a little aspirin won't fix. Mind the shop, I'll go get some. And I'll turn on the music. SCENE 5: WHEN HARRY MET TOMMY (Dance music. Harry is standing, holding a beer, drinking occasionally, watching people dance. Tom passes by, also holding a beer, checks him out. Music fades to background.) TOM: Excuse me. HARRY: Yes? TOM: Are you a friend of Tom? HARRY: Tom? No. I don't... I don't know him. TOM: You don't know anyone named Tom? HARRY: No, I mean... Yes, I do, but I don't anyone here named Tom. TOM: Oh. I thought maybe you were standing here waiting for him. HARRY: No, I'm not. Sorry. TOM: (Takes a drink) This must be your first time here. HARRY: Yes. How'd you know? TOM: If you'd ever been here before, you'd obviously know Tom. He's what you might call a permanent fixture. HARRY: Is that right? TOM: (quickly) So who are you waiting for? HARRY: What? TOM: You're standing here watching everyone dance. Since you're not dancing yourself, I figured you must be waiting for someone. HARRY: No, I'm not waiting for anyone. TOM: Don't you like to dance?
