It is compulsory for every Muslim to pray five times a day at respective timings facing towards the direction of Mecca. During the prayer, Muslims recite verses from the Holy Quran, specially the following surah which is recited at least 17 times a day "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and Sovereign of the Day of Judgment. It is You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path; The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger or of those who are astray." (1:1-7)

Allah the Almighty said in a Holy saying: (I divided the prayer between myself and my slave and for my slave whatever he asked)

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

My slave praised me.

The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

My slave complimented me.

And Sovereign of the Day of Judgment.

My slave glorified me .

It is You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help.

This is between me and my slave and for my slave what he asked .

Guide us to the straight path; The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked Your anger or of those who are astray.

This belongs to my slave and for him what he asked. www.elsharawy.com
