I will graduate from Savannah College of Art and Design in Spring 2014 with my BFA in Architecture. My experience at this school has progressed me as an artist, designer, professional and as a person. I have gained valuable insight into theory, practice and the furthering of the profession into the future. My goal as a designer is to push the envelope and to continue to blend architecture into others such as interactive, furniture, automotive, graphic and industrial design. Architecture is no longer just about people and buildings but must now take into consideration the hyper fast paced all encompassing world we live in. I am extremely excited about the emergence of 3d printing and new fabrication technniques that can change the world for the better. I am dedicated to my cause and work ethic.... now this is not just school, a profession or a job..it is what I love to do and I love to work. ATLANTA INVERSE ATLANT, GA This project is a multi-use building and light rail transit hub in Atlanta, GA. The goal was to invert the city and give building occupants a unique environment while providing circulation for hundreds of people using public transit. The building mass angles upward to minimize footprint and is wrapped in a second skin that shades the building and houses indoor green areas. A large green space splits the building in half seperating the bottom public section and private residences above.

TENSE SAVANNAH, GA Tense arena is a tensile structure that is based off of the structural capabilities of the Magnolia flower, the state flower of GA. The stadium houses 60,000 people and has a retractable tensile roof covering the seating area. Exterior circulation areas connect the main two floors shaded by a tensile roof. The roof is help up by a 10’ tall truss system that holds and viewing monitor and the retractable roof.

ELEGANT FISSURE MEMPHIS, TN This proposal was to add a wedding chapel, gift shop and multiple reception spaces to a site in need of some architectural excess fitting of the king of rock n roll. Elegant Fissure is a series of nesting shells that rip apart to allow daylight and circulation. Smaller tears and shreds preforate the surface for lighting, ventilation and views. This project was focused on performative building skins and ornamentation taking inspiration from gothic architecture, fashion, automobiles and Elvis Presley.

KOMAMAE SCHOOL KOMAMAE, E THIOPIA The Komamae school project was done with the aid and advice from “go design� a non-profit architecture firm that does work in the region of Ethiopia. The site lacks running water, electricity and many other comforts usually taken for granted. The challenge here was to create a school capable of housing 500+ students grades k-12, a cafateria, sleeping quarters for teachers and an agriculture area while addressing the intense Ethiopia climate and lack of resources. A master plan design was also made to be given to the school for future expansions. A single unit was designed and then replicated. Roofs were used as water collection devices and sliding bamboo walls were used to control the sunlight as well as slide completely closed for sandstorms.The building was designed specifically for use with no electricity and offers sufficiant daylighting through operation hours.

DE-VOLVE, PEFORMING AR TS CENTER SAVANNAH, GA This building deals with the idea of architecture derived form motion, a motion study was done focusing on the human proportions and the mechanics involved. The program was a performing arts center with outdoor sculpture gallery. The building sits between the SCAD architecture building and the new museum of art and blends the historic fabric and modern cues of both. The proposed building was meant to add another layer to the existing courtyard area that could be used for students and guests alike.

RIVERSTREE T SAVANNAH, GA The concept for this multi-use building was to integrate the existing paths through the site with the new building that houses a small theatre, coffee shop, bookstore and a 800sqft residence on top floor. The sloping site offered the opportunities for underground spaces and entries from different elevations that allowed for direct entries into completely different spaces. The historic site forced the designer to embrace the historic fabric of Savannah, GA but also add a new lantern for an overlooked area of River Street. Entry, Path and Place were the focuses of the project. These goals were met by adding two new street access entrances to a new building, a new enviting path for pedestrains through the site and 4 seperate places within one building all with different atmospheres and affect.

P S YCH A D EL I C A R C H This project was a digital study reinterpreting the arch. This new arch is a reinvented triumphant arch that is an entry installation piece with occupied space on each side and a walkway connecting the two.

3D WA L L PA NEL Designed in Rhinoceros fabricated with a CNC machine then sanded, primered and painted. The object of this project was to design and fabricate a complex surface with the aid of a CNC machine and 3d modeling software.


DUAL TO WERS This project was a investigation of ground condition that relates to the built structure. After designing the digital protype a physical model was fabricated by taking a Viva section of the model and laser cutting each individual section the putting them together to create the final prototype FABRIC ATION
