We feel that it’s a great opportunity to meet all the customers, and a great opportunity to connect everybody together. MR. MARCO NAVA GLOBAL SALES DIRECTOR GARMON KEMIN GROUP Hello everybody my name is Marco Nava, sales director of the Garmon Kemin Group. It’s now the 10th edition of Bangladesh Denim Expo. We have been attending from the first edition and we are here because we strongly believe in this show and what it represents for the Bangladesh garment industry. We believe that the Expo helps promote the image of Bangladesh and helps companies that exhibit gain entry into the market. It is a great event for gaining company recognition and for expanding our commercial network. It’s fantastic to be here to connect with buyers, machinery producers and garment manufacturers in order to build one single community and bring successful to Bangladesh as a country.
We are a Turkish technology company. We produce high technology finishing denim machines. We are positive about Bangladesh Denim Expo. The Expo is now one of the biggest, most important denim fairs in the world and that is why we wanted to participate. Bangladesh is the one of the biggest garment producers globally and it is growing. We see the growth opportunities in the country and, as a company want to supply high technology machines to the sector to enable safer, more efficient production.

It was really very good to experience the Expo again after a 2-year gap and for us to reacquaint ourselves with all the local merchandisers and buyers who visited the event. We are very optimistic that attending the event will give us the opportunity to develop good volume business for the future over the coming days. The Expo is a really good platform, bringing denim industry people together and giving us the opportunity to gather to share views, discuss new trends, ongoing issues and exchange information. The Expo benefits buyers, suppliers and garment makers and we will continue to attend the fair again in the future.
MR. RALF DISLICH DIRECTOR VICUNHA TEXTIL S-A I am Ralf Dislich from Vicunha Textil, SA from Brazil. We we are one of the largest denim mills on the planet, with a production capacity of a possible twenty two million dollars in value, per month. We are here at Bangladesh Denim Expo because we want to have a presence in Bangladesh, which is the second biggest market for denim garments in the world, so it’s a must for us to be here! What we like very much about Bangladesh are the people here, who are very warm and welcoming. We now have our own office here and we have our own people working with us. We are very happy with the Expo. Thank you!

It’s the first time we joined this fair and we are really very happy to participate as we know that the Bangladesh denim industry is very important and constantly improving. We want to see that how we develop new business here and we have seen a lot of visitors from Bangladesh companies. I can say that it’s a really good opportunity for us to develop future denim business with Bangladesh. Over the last 3-4 years here we have seen Bangladesh Denim Expo grow in importance and we decided to join the fair, because the Expo brings together buyers and manufacturers in a single platform so it really benefits both sides.
