Building method Partial soil replacement 1. Excavation of surrounding earth to intended height; 2. Laying of the geotextile; 3. Application and spreading of the Leca® fill with a digger on caterpillar tracks (pressure on tracks < 50 kN/m); 4. Compaction with bulldozer or vibroplate (3-4 passes); 5. Wrapping and covering of Leca® with geotextile to protect it from infiltration by the surrounding earth; 6. Construction of the road bed.
