March Avenue gets overdue repaving job ● $2.9 million project for bumpy road coming in on time, under budget Staff Report The long-awaited repaving of March Avenue, one of Healdsburg’s primary east-west connecting roads, got underway on Monday of this week, Aug. 24. The work takes place from 7:30am to 4pm every weekday, but there is no construction next weekend, Aug. 29-30, and the road will be open in both direc-
tions. It is anticipated to be completed by Wednesday, Sept. 2. Following the repaving, roadway signage and striping will be installed. March Avenue will remain a major traffic corridor in Healdsburg, with parking on both sides of the streets and striping for bike lanes. It has been resurfaced several times using — More on page 3
