Accommodation Metropolitan Hotel Sofia was opened in the beginning of 2008 and has been awarded as “Building of the year 2008”. It is strategically located close to Sofia Airport, Business Park Sofia and International Expo Center. The hotel is officially categorized as a 4star business hotel, according to the regulation of accommodation categorization in the Republic of Bulgaria. Metropolitan has 201 guest rooms, inclusive of 29 apartments and studios – all of them equipped with comfortable bed, spacious working desk, sofa, flat screen TV with satellite channels, mini bar, personal laptopsized inroom safe; direct phone, Internet connection, bathroom with a bath tub and full range of bath amenities, as well as sound and emergency alarm. The hotel has a central airconditioning system with possibility for individual temperature control in each room.

The above stated rates are valid for single as well as double occupancy, inclusive of all below mentioned preferences, except for Metropolitan single room. On guests’ disposal are two food and beverage outlets – Metropolitan restaurant with 150 seats and Met Bar with 60 indoor and 20 outdoor seats. Free wireless connection in both outlets is available. The executive chef of Metropolitan – Andrey Stoilov, is Capitan of the of the national cooking team and together with the team has been awarded with 3 bronze medals from the Olympic cooking tournament in Erfurt, Germany in October 2008.
