For the past twenty years, Manhattan has been home to the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center, a specialty nursing facility devoted to changing the lives of medically fragile children. The Center will be moving to a magnificent “green” building designed specifically for children and staff with nearly double the space.
Specialty features will include: therapy on each of the 3 residential floors, a hydro-therapy pool, sensory rooms, art and music therapy suites, 5 terraces including a therapy terrace, 15 classrooms, a gym and outdoor play areas. The design creates smaller, intimate neighborhoods of care to speak to the feelings of “home.”
