Ollie’s Dream Gala 2018

Voices Creating Change

Date: May 6, 2018

Date: June 2, 2018

Date: March 25, 2018

Event Description/Theme: One of the organization’s most anticipated events, the Youth Symphony and Omaha Symphony Chamber Orchestra perform “side by side.” Throughout the year, Youth Symphony musicians participate in coaching sessions and combined rehearsals offered by members of the Omaha Symphony Chamber Orchestra and appreciate the guidance and musical insights the professional musicians provide. Over 60 musicians auditioned and won placement in this orchestra in April 2017. Musicians commit to weekly rehearsals, instrument group sectional coaching and intense individual study.

Event Description/Theme: Enjoy a night of wine tasting with a dizzying array of silent auction items. It’s a must-attend evening that inspires while supporting The Ollie Webb Center, Inc. and its important programs.

Times: 6:30pm – 10pm

Event Description/Theme: Voices Creating Change is an annual collaborative event in which Omaha Children’s Choir gives voice to the issues of our time. We use music as a tool to inspire social change in our community. We use the power of people, art, and collaboration to tell the stories of organizations doing life-changing work. 100% of Voices Creating Change proceeds are given to a chosen nonprofit organization doing important work in our community.
