LEADERSHIP FELLOWS PROGRAM

STUDENT INFORMATION

PROGRAM CONTENT Students committed to making a real difference in their communities and the world have an avenue for personal development in the Leadership Fellows Program (LFP). The Leadership Fellows Program will consist of Monarchs who are driven to acquire the knowledge, values, skills, and practical experiences that will empower them for extraordinary leadership. Participation in this program is based on a nomination/ application/selection process. Selection is based on academic achievement, exceptional character, and commitment to engage in a rigorous plan of leadership development. Leadership Fellows complete the six Leadership Fellows Program core requirements found in this booklet. Items other than those listed for each core requirement may count toward completion of a particular requirement with the director’s approval. Faculty/staff verification is required for each item within a core requirement. Fellows who certify in all areas will receive a certificate, credit on their co-curricular transcript, a graduation cord, and recognition at the annual awards ceremony. You may also be identified as a Distinguished Leadership Fellow based on participation above and beyond the minimum requirements of the program. For more information, please contact Dr. Andrew Ziegler, director, Lura S. Tally Center for Leadership Development, 910.630.7488 or aziegler@methodist.edu.
