Pre Team ($45/session) We are partnering with the Fort Dodge ACAC Swim Club coaches, to offer kids who have learned the basics of swim lessons and are ready to move on to a new challenge. These sessions will introduce the competitive strokes and skills in a fun and engaging environment. Swimmers will be coached by a certified swim instructor with both high school and club swimming experience. Days: Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays Time: 9:00am-9:45am Session 6: June 15-July 2 • Session 7: July 13-30

Swim Lesson Reminders:

• If you decide to sign your child up for multiple Lesson Sessions, they must be the same level, even if they passed unless we deem necessary to move them. This is critical for teacher/ participant ratio and planning. Students may pass the base level skills but may not be ready for the next level due to deeper water or longer distances required to swim. • Yellow 1 & 2 are 30 minute lessons. Blue 1 & 2, Green 1 & 2 and Orange 1 & 2 are 45 minute lessons. • Call the office if you need help determining what level your child should be in. We have last year’s records. • Classes need a minimum of 5 participants to be held. If a class needs to be cancelled, we will do our best to find a session & time that works for you, if we cannot you will receive a credit on your ActiveNet account. • All lessons are Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks. If a class is cancelled because of weather it will be made up on that same Friday. • We do our best to have lessons each day and will only cancel because of storms that produce thunder or lightening. We will still have lessons on cool days, but those will be based out of water with safety lessons, facility tours, and even practicing skills on the pool deck.

ACAC-FD A year-round, competitive USA swim team based at FDSH Pool. We a part of the Ames Cyclone Aquatics Club where our coaches work with all levels of swimming. Our focus is on skill building, goal setting, and building character. We offer a free, 2 week trial for you to try out what the comptitive side of swimming family is like. Please email fortdodgeswimming@swimacac.com for more information.
