EXCELLENCE AND PASSION IN AUTOMATIC CONTROL DESIGN EICAS AUTOMAZIONE is a small-size Italian engineering company located in Torino (Italy), independent byof any industrial group, established in 1984 by a group of professors of the Politecnico di Torino and industrial researchers with the aim to set-up a company excelling in the complex system management and control area. The main activity areas are industrial automation, automotive and space. They deal on automatic digital control, numerical data, signals and images elaboration with development of special digital sensors, development of software tools for automatic control design and rapid control prototyping, development of sophisticated techniques for safety, FDIR and dependability. The industrial activity is accompanied by a strong involvement in RTD, with wide experience in coordinating or participating to advanced long term EU and ESA RTD projects.

Since the Eighties, EICAS designs for its customers control systems, which do not require any set-up in-field, equipped with fault tolerant systems and based on intelligent and autonomous control techniques, successfully applied in several fields of application. Our offer covers a wide spectrum of the automation engineering demand: from the design of control system for the industrial automation, to development and supply of operative real-time software, to the supply of software tools for supporting the control design specifically studied and customized for the customer, to consultants in large innovative projects of R&D, to the transfer of know for training people and the organization and supply of training courses.
