Designing kids rooms is so ridiculously fun. When you might hold back on certain things in other spaces (like for instance, painting closet doors bright mint), in a kids room, it’s more like “why WOULDN’T we paint the doors bright mint?!”. This room for my sweet little daughter Maya was all about cheer. I wanted something bright, that made you feel totally happy the second you walked in. Keeping the walls and trim white, and adding in a pink accent wall with ice cream cone decals started us off in the right direction.
